Named after the mustang grapes that grew wild in the area, Grapevine was first settled in the mid-1800s. Today, this DFW suburb is a thriving community with a very low crime rate, numerous parks, annual family-friendly events, and well appointed recreation facilities like the Grapevine Community Activities Center and the new Oak Grove Ball Field Complex.
